Replace Battery

When the battery has less than 20% of estimated life remaining:

  1. The center LED on the lock keypad will light yellow.
  2. An email notification will be sent to the lock owner.
  3. A Low Battery icon will appear in the app.
  4. A Low Battery warning will appear in the lock's history.

To replace the battery on the 5441EURD Select Access® Smart:

  1. The clear button on the lock keypad will light yellow to indicate low battery.
  2. Unlock and open the lock box door.
  3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the inside of the lock box door and remove the old battery. Press and hold any button on the keypad to discharge any residual stored energy.
  4. Install a new CR123A battery making sure to orient the positive and negative terminals appropriately per the guide molded into the battery compartment door.
  5. Close the battery compartment and re-fasten the flat-head screw.

*Please note that after installing a new battery, the low battery icon will no longer display in the app, after the app and the lock communicate with each other. However, it will take between 2 and 72 hours for the yellow LED to stop displaying on the lock itself.
